OSTA Services Section 1: General Terms
1. Purpose of These Terms These Terms & Conditions govern bookings, quotations, and services provided by Osta Services, including AC repair, air-conditioning maintenance, AC cleaning, AC installation, and selected home maintenance work in the UAE.
2. Company Identity Services are provided under the applicable business licence and service arrangements of Ostaa Technical Services Co. L.L.C S.O.C, trading under the Osta Services brand, within its licensed scope.
3. Acceptance of Terms Customers should review these terms before confirming a booking or approving chargeable work. The applicable quotation, invoice, service description, and written warranty form part of the relevant service arrangement.
4. Service Scope Our services may include air-conditioning troubleshooting, maintenance, cleaning, installation, component replacement, and selected residential maintenance tasks, subject to technician capability, availability, and applicable licensing requirements.
5. Service Areas Across the UAE Osta Services accepts requests in its designated service areas, including Ajman, Al Ain, Umm Al Quwain, and other areas where service availability is confirmed. Availability may vary by service type, distance, technician schedule, and job size.
6. Local Service Availability Customers searching for an AC technician near them should provide their complete location when booking. A search result, advertisement, or website visit does not itself guarantee that a technician is available at a particular address or time.
7. Website Information We make reasonable efforts to keep service descriptions, offers, and contact information accurate. Specific availability, prices, and work inclusions must be confirmed through the applicable quotation or booking communication.
8. Customer Eligibility The person booking a service must have the authority to arrange work at the property and must obtain any necessary landlord, owner, or building-management permissions.
9. Changes to These Terms These terms may be updated when services, operating procedures, or legal requirements change. Customers should refer to the publication date and the conditions applicable to their confirmed booking.
10. Applicable UAE Law These terms are subject to applicable UAE laws and regulations. Nothing in this document excludes a legal right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Section 2: Bookings and Local AC Technician Appointments
11. Booking an AC Technician Customers can request AC repair, AC maintenance, AC cleaning, and other available services through the Osta Services booking platform or our officially published contact channels.
12. Booking Confirmation A submitted booking request is not necessarily a confirmed appointment. The appointment becomes confirmed when Osta Services communicates acceptance and the relevant appointment details.
13. Accurate Property Location Customers must provide an accurate emirate, community, building name, apartment or villa number, and access instructions. This helps us assess availability for local searches such as “AC repair near me in Ajman” or “AC technician in Al Ain.”
14. Appointment Windows Arrival times may be estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather, previous jobs, emergency work, access restrictions, or unexpected technical issues.
15. Customer Availability The customer or an authorized representative should be available at the agreed time to provide access and explain the reported problem.
16. Rescheduling Customers should contact us as early as reasonably possible to change an appointment. New dates and times depend on technician availability and service-area coverage.
17. Cancellation Requests Customers may request cancellation through our official contact channels. Any applicable cancellation fee must be disclosed in advance, accepted where required, and permitted by applicable law.
18. No Access to the Property If the technician cannot access the property because the customer is unavailable or the access details are incorrect, a new appointment may be required. Any attendance charge must have been disclosed in advance and must be lawful.
19. Same-Day and Urgent AC Repair Urgent or same-day AC repair in Ajman, Al Ain, Umm Al Quwain, or another service area depends on technician availability, distance, workload, and the nature of the fault. Immediate attendance is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.
20. Changes to Booked Services Changes to the location, number of AC units, service type, or requested work may affect availability, price, and appointment duration. Material changes should be confirmed before work proceeds.
Section 3: Pricing, Visit Charges and Quotations
21. Service Pricing The cost of AC repair, AC maintenance, AC cleaning, AC installation, and home maintenance depends on the required work, equipment type, fault, location, materials, parts, and approved quotation.
22. Technical Inspection A technician may need to inspect and test an air-conditioning system before determining the cause of poor cooling, water leakage, unusual noise, electrical tripping, or another reported fault.
23. Visit Charge A visit charge of AED 100 may apply in eligible circumstances, including where the customer declines the proposed service or the service cannot proceed. The applicable conditions and amount must be disclosed in advance, accepted where required, and permitted by law.
24. Quotations Before Repair Where practicable, we will communicate the proposed work and price through a written quotation, invoice, message, or another recorded communication before chargeable work begins.
25. Approval of Additional Work Work outside the original approved scope requires the customer's approval before additional charges are incurred, except where a lawful arrangement has been expressly agreed.
26. Spare Parts and Materials Replacement parts, refrigerant, piping, insulation, electrical components, delivery, and other materials may be charged separately if they are not included in the confirmed quotation.
27. Additional Faults An inspection may reveal another fault that was not reasonably identifiable when the booking was made. We will explain the additional work and seek approval before proceeding.
28. Promotional AC Cleaning Prices Promotional AC cleaning offers apply only to the stated service areas, dates, quantities, and exclusions. Refrigerant, repairs, spare parts, and additional technical work are excluded unless explicitly included in the offer.
29. Maintenance Packages and Contracts Annual maintenance plans, recurring AC maintenance packages, and property maintenance contracts are governed by their individual service scope, price, frequency, exclusions, and validity period.
30. Pricing Questions and Disputes Customers should raise discrepancies between an advertised offer, quotation, invoice, or payment request before approving or paying the disputed item. Verified errors will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.
Section 4: Customer Responsibilities and Service Quality
31. Authorized Work Osta Services will carry out the work agreed with the customer, subject to technical feasibility, safe working conditions, and applicable regulations.

36. Property Permissions Customers are responsible for arranging required permissions from landlords, building management, owners' associations, or other authorized parties unless agreed otherwise in writing.

40. Service Quality and Customer Rights Osta Services aims to provide professional, transparent service. Nothing in these terms removes applicable legal rights or remedies relating to deficient work or other legally actionable conduct.
Section 5: AC Repair, AC Maintenance and AC Cleaning

45. Refrigerant and Gas Charging Refrigerant charging may be recommended after inspection. Adding refrigerant alone may not resolve poor cooling if the underlying cause is a leak, compressor fault, restriction, or another defect.
46. Refrigerant Leaks Where a leak is suspected, leak detection and repair may be recommended before recharging the system. Additional work and charges must be explained before approval.
47. Replacement Parts Replacement parts depend on equipment model, compatibility, supplier availability, and manufacturer specifications. Material differences between original, compatible, used, or refurbished components should be disclosed before approval.
48. Hidden or Intermittent Faults Some faults occur intermittently or are concealed inside walls, ceilings, wiring, drainage, or pipework. Additional testing or a separate quotation may be required.
