Safety Comes First in Every Home Maintenance Visit
At Osta Services, we believe every maintenance visit should be carried out with care, responsibility and attention to safety. Learn about our approach to protecting customers, property and technicians during home maintenance across our service areas in the UAE.
Valuables and Personal Belongings
At Osta Services, we respect your home, privacy and personal belongings. To help ensure a smooth and safe maintenance visit, customers are kindly requested to take reasonable precautions before our technicians begin work.
Secure Valuables and Important Items
Please remove or securely store cash, jewellery, watches, electronic devices, important documents and other valuable or fragile belongings before the service begins.
Clear the Work Area
Move personal belongings, decorations and fragile items away from the maintenance area to help prevent accidental damage and allow our technicians to work safely.
Protect Furniture and Personal Property
Where necessary, cover or move nearby furniture and belongings before work begins. Please inform our team about any particularly delicate items or areas that require special care.
Supervise Access to Your Property
Please ensure that a responsible adult is available to provide access, explain any special instructions and raise concerns before or during the service.
Report Any Concern Promptly
If you notice any missing item or damage that you believe occurred during the visit, please contact Osta Services as soon as possible and provide relevant details so the matter can be reviewed.
Important Notice
Customers are responsible for securing their valuables and personal belongings before the service. Osta Services will take reasonable care while carrying out the agreed work. Any concern relating to loss or damage will be reviewed based on the circumstances and applicable terms and law. This notice does not exclude any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
How to Prepare Before Our Team Arrives
To help our technicians complete your maintenance service safely and efficiently, please follow these simple steps before our team arrives.
1. Provide Accurate Service Details
Explain the issue clearly when booking and mention any unusual sounds, leaks, electrical problems or other concerns. Share photos or videos when possible.
2. Make the Work Area Accessible
Clear the area around the AC unit, electrical panel, plumbing fixture or equipment that requires maintenance. Secure fragile items and keep children and pets away from the work area.
3. Ensure Safe Access
Arrange building access, parking and any required security approvals in advance. If the equipment is on a roof, balcony or restricted area, inform us before the appointment.
4. Inform Us About Potential Hazards
Let our team know about water near electrical equipment, exposed wires, gas or refrigerant concerns, ceiling damage or other visible hazards.
5. Do Not Attempt Risky Repairs
Do not open electrical panels, handle refrigerant lines, climb onto roofs or attempt repairs that could put you at risk. If you suspect an immediate electrical hazard, keep away from the area and contact the appropriate emergency service.
6. Keep Your Phone Available
Please remain reachable around your appointment time so our team can coordinate arrival and clarify any details.
Important: Please do not attempt to inspect or repair hazardous equipment yourself. Our team will assess the situation on arrival and advise on the appropriate next steps.
What to Do If a Problem Occurs After Our Visit
At Osta Services, we want you to feel informed and supported even after our technicians have completed their visit. If you notice a new issue or the original problem returns after our team leaves, please follow these steps.
1. Protect Your Safety First
If you notice smoke, sparks, a burning smell or an immediate electrical hazard, keep away from the affected area. If it is safe to do so, stop using the affected equipment and contact the appropriate emergency service when necessary.
2. Stop Using the Affected Equipment
If your AC, electrical appliance or other equipment shows unusual behaviour, turn it off only if you can do so safely. Do not open the equipment, touch exposed wires or attempt risky repairs.
3. Contact Osta Services
Call or WhatsApp us at +971 56 867 6036. Explain what happened, when you noticed it and whether it is related to the service we performed. Photos or videos can help us understand the situation.
4. Keep Your Invoice and Service Details
Please keep your service invoice and any warranty details available. This helps our team review the previous visit and determine the appropriate next steps.
5. Wait for Our Guidance
Our team will review the information and advise you on the next steps, including whether a follow-up visit is required. Any applicable workmanship warranty will be assessed according to the terms stated on your invoice or service documentation.
Important: A new or unrelated fault may require a separate inspection or charge. Any applicable fees will be explained before additional work proceeds. Warranty coverage is subject to the agreed terms and does not automatically cover parts or unrelated faults.
Your Safety Matters at Every Step
At Osta Services, safety is an essential part of responsible home maintenance. Every property and maintenance task has its own requirements, which is why we believe in understanding the work before starting and taking appropriate precautions.
Our approach focuses on three priorities:
People First: Consider the safety of customers, occupants and technicians throughout the service visit.
Protecting Your Property: Take care around furniture, appliances, equipment and surrounding areas while carrying out maintenance.
Responsible Work Practices: Use suitable tools and precautions for the task, explain the work required and identify situations that need a qualified specialist.
From air conditioning maintenance to electrical repairs and general home maintenance, the right safety measures depend on the nature of the job and conditions at the property.
We also encourage customers to share relevant information about the issue before the visit, provide safe access to the work area and keep children and pets away from active maintenance work.
Our principle is simple: work responsibly, communicate clearly and treat every home with care.
A Safer Approach to Every Maintenance Job
At Osta Services, safety starts before the work begins. We believe that professional maintenance means understanding the task, identifying potential risks and choosing the appropriate way to carry out the job.
Before work begins
We clarify the requested service, review relevant site conditions and identify any access restrictions or visible hazards.
During maintenance
We emphasise careful handling of equipment, appropriate protective measures and keeping the immediate work area as safe and organised as reasonably possible.
When specialist work is required
Electrical hazards, refrigerant handling, working at height and other higher-risk tasks require appropriate training, equipment and qualified personnel.
Respect for your home
We aim to minimise disruption, take care around your belongings and communicate clearly if additional work or unexpected conditions are identified.
Safety is not just a checklist. It is part of how we approach every maintenance request, from the initial enquiry to the completion of the job.
